Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Quidly ("we", "us", "the app") handles information when you use the Quidly mobile application. The short version: we don't collect anything.
2. Information We Collect
Quidly collects no personal information. The app does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal data.
All transactions, budgets, and settings you enter into Quidly are stored exclusively on your device and optionally synced via your own iCloud account, which is controlled entirely by Apple. We have no access to your iCloud data.
We do not track you. We do not use analytics. We do not have servers that store your data.
3. Apple Foundation Models (AI)
Quidly uses Apple's Foundation Models to parse natural language expense entries (a Pro feature on supported devices). This processing happens entirely on your iPhone's Neural Engine. No data is sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other AI service. No data leaves your device for AI processing.
4. Third-Party Services
Quidly uses Apple's StoreKit framework to process subscription purchases. Apple handles all payment information; we never see or store your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
5. CloudKit Sync
If you sign into iCloud on your device, Quidly will sync your data across your devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. This sync is entirely controlled by Apple. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not have access to it.
6. Your Rights
You can delete all your data at any time:
- Settings → Data → Reset App — clears this device only.
- Settings → Data → Delete Everything — clears device and iCloud copy.
To cancel your subscription: open the Settings app on iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Quidly → Cancel.
7. Children
Quidly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of Quidly after changes constitutes acceptance.
